Strawberry Banana Smoothie Recipe

This delicious strawberry banana smoothie recipe uses fresh strawberries, bananas, milk, and vanilla yogurt. Quick and easy, this smoothie recipe is great for breakfast on the go.

Sometimes you just want something different to start your day and a smoothie can fit the bill. Fresh strawberry and banana are two of my favorite flavors combined into a creamy smoothie. It makes a filling breakfast or an easy after-school snack full of protein and calcium from the milk and yogurt.

You could also use frozen whole strawberries or bananas in this smoothie. If you want a richer flavor, try French vanilla yogurt in place of vanilla yogurt. If the smoothie seems too tart, try adding a teaspoon of sugar and blending again. Another idea is to substitute orange juice instead of milk for a new flavor combination.

This strawberry banana smoothie recipe makes enough for 4 servings. If you have any leftovers, just refrigerate the blender container and give it a quick whir the next morning and it will taste as fresh as the first time.
