Ingredients
1Dozen eggs12 eggs
1Cupmilk
1teaspoonWorcestershire sauce
1teaspoonsalt
1/2teaspoonpepper
1/2cupbutter1 stick
2cupsshredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/2red bell pepperchopped
2Tablespoonsgreen onionchopped
Baking Equipment Needed
9" x 13" glass baking dishsprayed with non-stick cooking spray
Small bowl to melt butter
Large mixing bowl
Whisk or wooden mixing spoon
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.
Melt butter in a separate small bowl and then whisk in to the above mixture.
Pour mixture into a 9" x 13" glass baking dish that has been sprayed with a non-stick vegetable oil cooking spray.
Sprinkle the chopped red bell pepper and chopped green onion over the egg mixture.
Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
Turn eggs gently with a spoon and sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly on top of the mixture.
Bake 30-45 minutes longer.
Notes
To make ahead the night before: mix all ingredients as instructed up to step 4. Cover and refrigerate overnight. If you do not pull the baking dish out of the refrigerator early and let it get to room temperature, expect up to 15 minutes additional baking time.
