Buttermilk Banana Bread Recipe

Ingredients

butter
softened to room temperature

granulated sugar

large eggs
beaten

fresh buttermilk

flour

teaspoon
salt

teaspoons
baking soda

baking powder

mashed bananas
about 1-2 medium bananas
1/2
c.
walnuts
finely chopped
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
In a medium mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar; add beaten eggs and mix well.
Slowly stir in the fresh buttermilk and mix until fully incorporated.
In a separate large mixing bowl, sift together the flour, salt, baking soda and baking powder.
Add in the wet ingredients from the first bowl to the dry ingredients and mix well.
Stir in the mashed bananas.
Stir in the chopped walnuts.
Pour into a greased and floured 9" x 5" x 3" loaf pan.
Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour.
