Ingredients
6eggs
1-1/2cupswhole milk
2cupsheavy cream
1cupof prepared vanilla sauce
1/4cupGrand Marnier Liqueur
1lemon juiced and zested
1/2cupdried cranberries
1/2cupdried cherries
1/2cupraisins
2loavescinnamon breadcubed
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a large mixing bowl, crack the eggs and beat well with a whisk until light and lemon colored.
Add milk, cream, vanilla sauce and Grand Marnier.
Add lemon juice and zest, cranberries, cherries, and raisins. Add bread cubes-stir until well coated.
Let stand 30 minutes to allow the milk mixture to be full absorbed.
Pour all into a buttered 13" x 9" glass baking dish.
Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven covered with foil in a water bath for 50 minutes.
Remove foil and bake another 10 minutes or until browned on top.
Notes
Serve with additional vanilla sauce drizzled on top of each serving. Top with whipped cream and a dusting of ground cinnamon.
