Ingredients

brown sugar

light cream

fresh marshmallows
dash of salt

butter

teaspoon
vanilla

finely chopped walnuts or pecans
Instructions
In a medium saucepan combine the brown sugar, cream, marshmallows and salt.
Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves and mixture comes to a boil.
Cook over medium heat for 8-10 minutes (224 degrees on a candy thermometer).
Remove from heat and add butter; cool slightly.
Add the vanilla extract and nuts.
Serve warm over ice cream or other desserts.
Makes 2 cups.
