Ingredients
1cupmilk chocolate or semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2cuplight corn syrup
1/4cupheavy cream
1Tablespoonbutter
1teaspoonvanilla extract
1/3cupground pecanssee below
Instructions
Combine the chocolate chips and corn syrup in a small sauce pan over a low heat, stirring constantly until the chips are fully melted. Remove from heat.
Stir in the cream, butter, and vanilla until combined.
Fold in the ground nuts until evenly distributed.
Enjoy warm over ice cream or anywhere you want a good nutty chocolate sauce.

The difference in taste is noticeable.You can purchase ground pecans in the baking isle of your local grocery store. Alternatively, you can take whole pecans and process them in a blender or food processor until fine and evenly ground.
