Hot Fudge Topping for Ice Cream

Serves: 1 cup
  • ¼ cup butter
  • ⅔ cup sugar
  • 1 heaping Tablespoon cocoa
  • ⅓ cup heavy cream (or ½ and ½)
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla
  1. Melt the butter in a saucepan.
  2. Add the sugar and cocoa. Stir to combine.
  3. Blend in the heavy cream.
  4. Boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat and stir in ½ teaspoon vanilla.
Serve warm over your favorite dessert or homemade ice cream.

Can be reheated in microwave. Makes about 1 cup of sauce.
