Easy Butterscotch Sauce

Serves: 1 cup
  • ¼ cup butter
  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  1. In a small to medium saucepan combine all ingredients.
  2. Cook over medium heat until mixture just comes to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat and continue to cook 3-5 minutes longer, until mixture has thickened.
  4. Serve warm.
  5. Makes 1 cup.
