Honey Cinnamon Butter

Honey cinnamon butter is an easy to make flavored spread made with creamery fresh butter, honey, and cinnamon. Serve on toast, muffins, popovers, pancakes, and waffles.

This is a quick and simple flavored butter recipe that can be ready in about 5 minutes and is a classy addition to your breakfast or brunch table. It adds that special touch that your guests will remember. This spread is an unbeatable combination you can enjoy on a variety of breakfast treats.

This is especially fun to make if you have raw fresh honey available. There have been a few times when a neighbor of ours has offered honey from his bees and I will say, fresh raw honey is outstanding. The bees did a fine job!

If you do not have an opportunity to find fresh honey, just make sure the honey you do use in this recipe is fresh. Sometimes when honey sits on the shelf too long it becomes grainy and sugary. While it is still usable, for this spread to turn out best you need fresh clear honey, otherwise you will be able to feel the grittiness on your tongue. So, use good quality fresh honey! You can also play around with lighter and darker honey as each have their own distinct flavors.

Serve this versatile spread on just about anything from toast, quick breads, muffins, popovers, bagels, pancakes, French toast, and waffles.
